چکیده
Abstract The marine pollution caused by traditional plastics is becoming increasingly serious, and the fundamental way to solve this problem look for plastic substitutes that can degrade in environment. Herein, a series of high-molecular-weight poly(butylene succinate- co -diethylene glycol succinate) (PBDS) was obtained introduction low-cost diethylene (DEG) into main chain (PBS), which aimed obtain materials be degraded both compost seawater. research showed increase DEG content reduced crystallinity copolyester, led decrease mechanical strength thermal properties copolyester certain extent. Meanwhile, hydrophilicity improved degradation rate material. Compared with PBS, PBDS exhibited not only faster composting but also

Designing and providing a scaffold are very important for the cells in tissue engineering. Polybutylene succinate (PBS) has high potential as a scaffold for bone regeneration due to its capacity in cell proliferation and differentiation. Also, stem cells from 3rd molar tooth germs were favoured in this study due to their developmentally and replicatively immature nature. In this study, porcine ...

Background: Human linkage and animal QTL studies have indicated the contribution of genes on Chr17 into blood pressure regulation. One candidate gene is PNMT, coding for phenylethanolamine-N-methyltransferase, catalyzing the synthesis of epinephrine from norepinephrine. Methods: Fine-scale variation of PNMT was screened by resequencing hypertensive (n = 50) and normotensive (n = 50) individuals...
متن کاملDiethylene glycol poisoning and liver function following accidental diethylene glycol injection
The aim of the present study was to investigate the hepatotoxic effects of accidental intravenous diethylene glycol (DEG) poisoning in patients with liver disease. Clinical manifestations were recorded and liver function tests were carried out for 64 patients with liver disease who had been accidentally treated intravenously with DEG. Comparisons were made between the poisoned and non-poisoned ...
متن کاملDiethylene Glycol Poisoning: Report on Two Cases.
Few cases, if any, of death from drinking diethylene glycol have been reported in this country. This substance is, of course,, largely used as an antifreeze fluid in radiators of rmotor-cars, and is sold under a variety of trade names in this country, in America, and probably elsewhere , without any restrictions. There is little or no mention of the toxicity of this substance in British literat...
